I’m not really very opposed to a belief in something or somethings that created the Universe as much as I am opposed to the typical Christian view of God. The argument that the world is too complex or unlikely to have come about without a design is an argument that relies on the fact that we just don’t know enough yet, however, it still seems to make sense at least.
At my high school the sophomores, which includes myself, recently took a personality test online during what would have been our US History classes as some sort of indicator about colleges/careers we might consider for the future. For the test, I got INTJ as my personality type. I don’t know too much about the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, but it seems like a bunch of nonsense.
I got my very first computer recently: a refurbished Dell Inspiron 531 PC with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processor, a 250 GB hard drive, and 1 GB of RAM for $250 for my birthday, and it came pre-installed with Windows Vista.

Often, in order to justify their belief in God’s existence, people will argue that the Universe is too “complex” to have come about by chance alone, so God must have done it. Not only is this argument flawed because it does nothing to show that God exists (God being the Christian god), it is also flawed because it requires ignoring the current condition of humans and it requires ignoring human history.

I’ve decided to change the permalinks for the site from /archives/post_id to /year/month/post_title . If I’m going to change the permalinks, I figure I might as well right after I made the move from Me.Asolis to Asolis. 
Essay: Legalization of Homosexual Marriage
As I said in an earlier post, one of my friends is against homosexuality. She’s also against the government legalizing homosexual marriage and she wrote an essay for school last year about this. When I sent her my previous post, she sent me her essay to look at.
I’m starting the transition of Me.Asolis to Asolis. I wasn’t planning on doing anymore with what I already had up on Asolis, so I figured I might as well move this blog. Me.Asolis is still functional for now, but I will disable it eventually.

Article: Catholic Answers - Homosexuality
Recently at my high school our GSA and some individuals unrelated to the group were celebrating Ally Week in various ways, such as through wearing clothes of certain colors on different days. One of my good friends who is against homosexuality didn’t like the fact that the school was supporting it. Since she was against it, I decided to do a quick Google search to see what kinds of reasons people have for being against homosexuality, most of which I was already somewhat aware of.
I’m thinking about using this site as a medium in which to publish refutations to arguments that I find flaws in. That way I can actually turn do something useful with this site instead of just letting it sit here.
I’m taking a Driver’s Education class and today I watched a mime pretend to get drunk, try to shout angrily (but he couldn’t as he was a mime), fall asleep in the middle of some room by himself, and then die (poor mime). Just thought I’d share this sad story.
